MAY JUNE JULY & AUGUST 2006

Apologies for the late publication of this Newsletter, but unavoidably I have been away from Thailand a great deal this year.

In May we had the trustees/committee Annual General Meeting in England, where the accounts for the period ended 31 December 2005 were presented and approved, beautifully prepared by one of our committee members, and independently examined in great detail by Simon Bruce-Smythe.  Our grateful thanks to both. The accounts and trustees’ report have been sent to the Charities  Commission.

The information regarding Gift Aid will be sent soon to private donors who are UK tax payers and who donated directly to Phi Phi AID. I apologise for the delay.

Since the March-April Newsletter Phi Phi AID satisfactorily completed a number of projects.

All recipients expressed their extreme gratitude to Phi Phi AID donors, as did the Minister of Education when she paid a visit to the school.
