Phi Phi AID is a UK Registered Charity - Charity Number 1110106.

Its chairman is Frederik Jurriaanse, who has lived on Phi Phi Island since 1991.

Phi Phi AID helps and supports victims of the Tsunami which struck Phi Phi Island, Thailand, on 26 December 2004.

Friends, colleagues and those who were concerned about the devastation caused by the tsunami were keen to help Phi Phi specifically.  Many came from Holland and Britain, but there were also many from other countries.

Frederik was able to enlist the help of these people to raise money to assist children, families and local communities.
